Why am I selling two Veste coats (cordovan has gone)? I'm moving over to LHB, as a fair weather jacket that I'll never wear anything under, other than a shirt (it'll be next year now). For cold weather wear it's Kiton and Nicola Blasi cashmere overcoats all the way.
This Aero Veste was made in May 2010. These flash pics of my wearing it are from early 2011. It seen hardly any wear, as I had always planned on keeping it as my 'smarter' FQHH.
If someone told me they'd bough this new two weeks ago, I'd believe them. There is zero wear on the lining, zero pong, zero scruffiness anywhere, zero wear point or marks. The pocket lining is still felty soft (I put a little zip bag inside to put things in. The back is still pristine and uncreased. Only the arms are getting broken in, which more or less happened within the first few weeks anyway. I can only remember once wearing it in very light rain.
For this reason, it's going at £375, unlike the cordovan Veste, which I'd worn one hell of a lot, and made a conscious effort to break in.
Below are pics taken within the last 10 days. It's literally sat in a cupboard since last year:

Specs & Measurements
Nothing below stretched (not that I could with FQHH) and the fabric tape measure held taught but not tight or stretched either. I took advice from here:
http://www.askandyaboutclothes.com/clothing/style-tips/how-to-measure-a-jacket
so best you measure a comparable jacket in the same way.
It's a standard sized 46" Veste. Not waisted. All I asked for was 2½
inches added to both body and sleeves.
Roll over stiching throughout
Black FQHH
Two internal vertical (in the facing) pockets: left zip, right stud
Olive green gabardine lining
1.) Chest Measurement - Because it's not a fabric, and it
doesn't have a 'V' to it, I've done up all the buttons on the
front. Flattened out with the widest possible pit to pit width I can
get: a hair under 28.5"
2.) Waist Measurement - I've taken it middway between the first & second buttons
from the bottom. Don't fret, this is a coat, not a jacket: 26.5"
3.) Shoulder Width - 22"
4.) Jacket Length - from the actual bottom edge of the collar to hem: 32.25"
5.) Sleeve Length - doing it Andy's way: 27"
When I do it my way, from shoulder seam in a straight line (not following the sleeve curve) down to the outer cuff edge corner: a hair over 27.5"
I'm 6'2", and normally wear a 46" suit jacket, but sometimes a 48" if the suit cut is trimmer. Also, in the photo of my wearing it, like many people, I have a slightly longer right arm than left.
Weight of jacket in box: 4548g
I would prefer a UK sale. I'm in Surrey & Central London. PM first please, then we can go to email.
