Tex Hill was a great guy! I would run into him a lot at airshows when I was flying. You could spot him in his AVG Hawaiian shirt with a big smile. We miss him!Here is Tex Hill's jacket, just an hour away from my house at the Museum of the Pacific War.
I'm not expert, fer sher, but i was under the impression it was a G&F. Or so I was led to believe...

Andrew,was G&F the only mfg who did the stitched pocket?I have an old navy jacket that has that type of stitched style on the pocket,it is a 55J14 I believe.thanks Brian
