Just found on Facebook, BK released a new californian half belt, it looks really nice, I believe it is made in their Liberty HH. I didn't download all the pics from their fb pages, for anyone interested, heres the link:

I just realised I didn't post this one. I thought this was the Bruce Willis repo but as handymike said, it's different. The BK jackets are to my taste some of the best looking jacket photos I've seen.

Haha, me and you alike, Seb (on both accounts). The under collar throat tab on this is so nice; would like to see an Aeronaut with this makeup- seems like the perfect fit (regular top button plus this throat tab for tight collar closure).

I've seen many good looking half belt designs being showcased on BK's Facebook site, but why is there no one here posting about their new purchase or showing fit pics? If saw a few good solid reviews from fellow loungers I would be tempted but until then I'll just keep looking at the studio photos and wondering :-(

I had decided to buy the B.K Californian and emailed Andy a few times. I even stated in 1 email that I wanted to "get this order sorted" to which he never really followed up on. He was always very pleasant but never seemed to really answer my questions, or only answered some of them.

First they were changing the leather finish and colours, then they couldn't send out samples for over a month and in the mean time he seemed reluctant to really get down to the nitty gritty and answer my sizing questions.

It just became too hard, at that point Insurrection were more than happy to help me spend my money, they were more than happy to answer questions, I had a nice chat with Carrie on the phone and the fit jacket experience was really valuable, I would have ordered the wrong size if I didn't get it ....it was just a much more pleasant experience, so I've ordered a premier half belt in vicenza leather instead.

Maybe it's similar experiences like this that we don't get more B.K jackets here.....which is a shame because they are gorgeous!

I'm waiting on a BK jacket, their surrogates one, Andy always answer my mails rather promptly.

He write to me last week to ask me about the leather, their new seal liberty HH is sightly darker and wanted to know which one I would like for my jacket.

I choose their current liberty HH I like it a lot.

I'm waiting on one too, due by the end of this month, and have found Andy real easy to deal with and good at sizing. That was the first thing we worked out together in fact.

Once I get it I'll post a review


PS @proteinnerd I think maybe I can guess what has happened to you. Sometimes, and I know this from personal experience, the BK email address goes tits up and emails that you thought were delivered get returned undelivered several months later. That's the only thing I can think of to explain your situation

Andy has always returned my emails promptly.

I have a BK Waldo Pepper on order. Andy has been great answering my questions and very accommodating with customizations too. I reckon BK/Andy are just very busy and subsequently emails to customers are like buses none for ages then two/three turn up! well that's been my experience so far.
Anyhow, their jackets look fantastic, really looking forward to my first veg tanned russet jacket.

It might simply be an email issue. Sometimes an email won't get through for whatever reason.
