bragging rights today,, i still have a brand new in the box MdB from the master Denis Guedon,, but of coarse i try it on twice a year just to see how it feels , still has the Savon de MARSEILLE soap smell and the ironed press seal around the label

Something about a cold rainy day made me want to haul out my old Rover Scout military surplus beret.

Very nice and good to cherish that fine beret! However, it may be good to know that I still have a very small number of the very first batch that Denis Guédon made for me.
Over the years, there have always been some customers who really wanted one of these originals and although the stock is low, I still have a few of these for sale.

At present, only 2 x 10p/28cm models in green, but in 11p/31cm I have 1 or 2 in: black, green, navy, bordeaux, khaki, green and red.

In 12p/Alpin there are only 3 originals left: jeans, khaki and the Édition limitée in Aotearoa pāua.

If interested, send me an email or D.M. with your wishes and I'll send a custom invoice in return (the cost is the same as the regular universels ).

Also, all the foulards made with unbleached French linen and the Aotearoa label (in universel and headbanded models) were made by Denis Guédon, with numerous models/sizes still available.

Today in the garden we have a meerschaum-lined calabash ( I know, I usually wear a fore and aft cap with it) paired with a camel beret.

I want to share my latest acquisitions from Daan´s... A Black Universel 9.5, its amazing, perfect fit, soft to the touch, and a russet fear naught, my first non black nor blue beret, so i feel kinda bold while wearing it.

A fun fact, the day i recived the boinas a friend of mine saw it and told me he also has an Auloronesa, but green. He got it from a french tourist he met in the south of chile and became friends with. now every time he comes to chile my friend orders berets from him.
