I do have to say I love Autumn decorations (your pictures are lovely) but the rain, cold, and gray affect my entire family quite badly.
I'm not just a grump, you know. LOL

In a couple of year, I'll probably dislike the seasonal changes, too: stiffness of the joints, headaches, mood swings.. lol

How it forced it's way through the heat I don't know. Nor do I care.

Stiffness of joints is rather a year-round albeit intermittent thing for me already. Fashion-wise, cool weather months are my favorite. Can't put on my camel hair or wool sports jackets or my sweaters unless daytime highs stay a fair bit under 60 and can't really put on my topcoats til we're nearly into winter weather here. In Kansas, the calendar might even say winter while a daytime high of 60+ is far from unheard of. Earl

In LA the weather is mild overall but gets hot in the summer. Being stuck in a uniform gets frustrating when it's hot so I look forward to cooler weather. It's also more comfortable when I get a chance to break out my formal wear.
