Where can I find the Fedora Lounge forum for selling and buying hats?

Yes, it is, and thanks for pointing it out to me. Unfortunately, my tastes don't run to black, and my collection is so small I'll keep looking.http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Bla...117357?hash=item4b0b7a632d:g:mJAAAOSw4GVYGhIA
they have it dated incorrectly but still a very nice hat
According to a quick Google search, psoriasis is not contagious. Medical scientists don't know exactly what causes it, but they do know our immune systems and genetics play a role in it's development....Is it safe to wear a previously owned hat if, in it's former life, it covered the embarrassment of psoriasis?

@hatsRme introduced me to dimensional brims, i.e. where the measurement out is different than the fore-aft measurement. What is the purpose of a dimensional brim? Is it related to the shape of the head, i.e. XLO hats versus normal oval, where one would look better with a dimensional brim?
Thanks. I should have searched.
The effect is to accentuate the swoopy look from a side view. [huh]
it's just another look my man ... you are way over thinking itThanks. I should have searched.
I saw nothing there about why one would choose a dimensioned brim based on head shape. The three reasons I found for a dimensioned brim are
- Indiana Jones styling (has no impact on me since I have an aversion to basing purchases on emulating fictional character, e.g. I would by a Homburg but I would shy away from the variation marketed as "The Godfather".
- For a fedora it seems to accentuate the "swoopy" look from the side.
- A western hat with no side curl, e.g. a "gun club"
they will shave off loose nap and minor surface soils and act almost as a mild sandpaperHat Sponges- what do they actually do? Is there some abrasive property? Do they have some sort of cleaning additive?
Thanks!
A different look in the same style, to me, doesn't have it's own purpose. The design of a hat, it seems, should compliment the person wearing it. Height, taper and width all should play into that.it's just another look my man ... you are way over thinking it
why a wider brim or shorter brim ?
why a lower crown or higher crown?
why a tapered crown or straight sided crown?
all just options for different looks and functions
It's both big or nothing....and if you cant have a big brim, at least you can have a high crown.
Like dis?...and if you cant have a big brim, at least you can have a high crown.
