What would be the closest match for boots using Lost Worlds' horsehide ?
Meaning using boot-thickness chrome tanned horsehide that's stiff as a board and takes forever to break in/barely ages thanks to the acrylic/resin/pigment coated leather that is Lost Worlds'?
I'd love to get some to match my jackets.

I'm thinking about getting a Schott B3 for my lady.

I'm struggling to find a fair priced women's one, does anyone know how the equivalence would be from men's to women's sizing? Obviously there may be a difference in pattern, but is a men's Extra Small closer to a woman's Small? To a Medium perhaps?

Didn't find anything that would help me on Schott's sizing guide on their website.

In my limited experience with women’s jacket sizing a regular fit men’s xs is closer to a women’s medium (sz 6-8), but if it’s a slim fitting men’s xs then it’s closer to a women’s small (sz 4-6).

That said, schott’s patterns imho are oversized, main reason I don’t own one is that even their smallest men’s size fits me looser/longer than I’d like, so I would assume a schott B3 in men’s xs is gonna be closer to the women’s medium or sz 6-8 and still be a roomy fit.

Good luck
Thanks, that basically completely throws out of the window getting a men's XS as my lady would be S or perhaps even XS. I'll keep looking for a women's one then.

I just checked out the sizing chart on the schott website for a classic B3, they have numbered sizing going down to a sz 32, so I thought they started making even smaller sizes than their previous men’s xs, but far from it as the sz 32 has a 20.5” p2p and 26” length, which is ginormous imho for something tagged as a men’s sz 32.

That P2P might be normal considering a B3 should be much bulkier due to the shearling, so a higher P2P is expected. The length does seem a bit too much.

In relation to my previous question: Think I'm SOL when it comes to getting a nice shearling for my lady. No nice actually US made Schotts for women at all, other than in Schott's website.

It looks like my only options are either used Allsaints shearligns or Schott Pakistan made. So it may be a topic beneath the forum's usual standard of quality, but any thoughts when comparing one to the other?

Personally I think they should be quite similar, with the **** Schott having a more "traditional" style and Allsaints having some more modern/fashion designs. In quality I would expect them to be on par and still last a lifetime.

Any additional views or better alternatives? I've considered Chinese jackets or 5* but I honestly don't trust them making a piece for women's (hell, like I don't even trust them that much making a piece for men's either).
