The Blue Hat William Orpen.

Sir William Orpen was an Irish artist who worked mainly in London during the early 20th century establishing himself as a successful portrait painter. In 1912 he produced 'The Blue Hat’, as part of a series of portraits depicting Vera Brewster, the wife of the writer Joe Horne.

The artist is a lady by the name of Suzann Sines. Here, cut from her website, she describes her life and herself.:
"I am 39 years old painter. I live with my two sons in the beautiful countryside surrounded by immense pine forests. Before, for many years I worked in Liverpool as a painter and professional illustrator. After having my son in 2014, I found myself at a career crossroads and decided to take a chance on a new path in the design community. Through FAA I am able to reclaim my time and still have a fulfilling career that I feel passionate about. Today I treat painting more as a hobby and a channel to translate my feelings, thoughts and intuitions into artwork. I have been selling originals and reproductions of my work online since 2008. People all over the world have purchased my art and it is wonderful to connect with so many of you."
