I toured his house in KC once years ago. Can’t remember much about what we saw but I remember we loved it.

Cool! I need to do that someday.

This litho (titled "Jesse James" ) was signed in pencil by the artist and sold recently for $9,600. The original price for the framed piece was $50.

Interesting. This angle makes me curious about the draw. It looks like a long-barreled revolver, so where's he drawing it from? Is that a holster on his right hip, or a fold in the coat? So is there a slit in the frock coat?

Or maybe it's a short-barreled rvolver drawn from a coat pocket?

Just random "gun guy" curiosities... ;)
The hat was copied from a photo of Wyatt Earp taken on June 10, 1883, less than 2 years after the shootout in Tombstone, AZ.

Wyatt didn’t want to brandish his revolver in public, so he had a waxed canvas pocket custom made to conceal his 7 ½” SAA in his frock coat.
