I'd seen ribbon work similar to this style on a Poet hat once and couldn't decide if I'd want it on a personal lid or not.

It is certainly distinctive, and quite attractive. Maybe if i pick up the saxophone again...

I was asked to build a "stage hat" Doug. I'm not sure I would wear this design for an everyday hat either.

I just prefer your classic style "Art" ribbon treatment more.

Wow, I can’t get over the very refined curves and smooth texture. That hat wasn’t made, it was born. Beautiful looking piece of Art.

Magnificent Art! I see a problem for your customer though. The man that's wearing that hat is going have a hard time singing the blues.

Here’s a newer (newest) VS lid for me that gets a lot of comments on the fine fuzzy finish. It’s Blue steel, but the light can change the color quite a bit...

Being fairly new to the custom 100% beaver fedora realm, here's my first and sadly only VS creation (made by Art). It is essentially a black cherry "Devil's cut". I requested a few changes so I suppose it could be an "Angels Cut"?. The only option I left up to Art was the finish, but requested the one most durable to the elements. Not sure if it's standard finish or suede finish? The fit is dead perfect and my current cell phone is from 2012! Thank you Art!

If Art uses rabbit bodies for the brims of his Duelists, is there a list available of his exclusively rabbit felt colors?

No list Hulk, just the standard Winchester colors are available. For a while I had Dove also in rabbit for the OTR model.
