@Fanch my long overdue Sheene MAY be on the cards again. Seeing as you have one with shoulder gussets and one without, do you find much difference between them now they have broken in?

Any difference in mobility? I probably prefer the overall look of the yoke with no gusset but don't want too much excess leather flapping about on my back.

I just tried on both Sheenes going back and forth from one to the other 3-4 times to compare. Honestly, I'm not sure I can feel any appreciable difference in mobility at all between the two, certainly not enough for me to choose one over the other. Both are, of course, Vicenza jackets. The one without shoulder gussets perhaps has a bit of a cleaner look but also think the shoulder gussets looks cool.

The main difference between the two is the black Vicenza Sheene has no zippers on the handwarmer pockets, which I much prefer over the russet Vicenza that does have zippers that rubs the **** out of the back of my hands every time I use them. :p Even Ken Calder told me he preferred no zips on the handwarmer pockets. If I had it to do over again I would have left zips off the russet Vicenza Sheene.

Couldn't agree more.
The zippers on the hand warmers are really a bad idea - unless of course you are using the jacket to ride in, then they are a good idea to prevent the loss of whatever you may store in there.
I also agree with the functionality of the gussets. There is a little more wiggle room, but for my money, I'd chose the style that most speaks to you from an aesthetic perspective.
