I think it's a joke on the part of the Mods. That was a joke...
If rocker ever gets censored, I'll definitely blame the mods.

How much longer will "Hipster" survive for?
In the Lounge, at least, hipster is a compliment!

+1Not for me. I've got timeless style and class that defies popular consumer driven 'trends'.
I think the name Simmons Bilt is a bit clunky. I get the word association in my head " jerry built" every time I read it.
On a positive note it will be easier to sell Alexander Leather jackets on eBay using the Simmons Bilt name as currently a search for Alexander Leathers brings up lots of spurious stuff.
I wonder if that Drifter Productions guy has got around to changing all his eBay entries yet?
I wonder if that Drifter Productions guy has got around to changing all his eBay entries yet? Actually, I had a quick eBay and found this nasty item:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-h...132?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item4aeb23d1cc
But I also found this strange little entry, which sounds a lot like somebody from around here:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Alexander...039?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item2351d1086f
Whoever is selling it is delusional when it comes to the asking price, btw, as you can pick one up off the sale page new for buttons - again, in a stroke of marketing genius, debasing their own product's value.
The guy posting that second linked item needs a trip to court;
'It exactly the same as the Aero's highwayman', gee, I thought AL said it was an original in-house thing, and not made with stolen Aero patterns?
'Horse hide vs steer hide:
Again there have been enough written about whether one is better than the other. I have had a few horse hide and steer hide jackets over the years. I can honestly say that you will not be able to tell the difference between one to the other just by looking as they look almost identical ( hence that was the " scandal " a few years back where aero leather clothing was making horse hide jackets for iron heart UK and turned out they were steer hide but no one at the time knew the difference ).'
Nope, the 'scandal' was that customers were paying more for horse, and the guy that sold them the steer instead IS the guy who was MD at AL.
This guys a joker.
That's what screamed out at me from it too - apparently it was "aero" who were passing off steer as horse. Not Alexander Leathers. Oh no. Honest as the day is long, them. Straight as the Mile End Road, guvnor...
That allegation is actually potentially libellous.
Does go to show that Ken did the sensible (as well as the honest) thing, though. Can you imagine if, say around mid 2014, Various ex-Aero employees had come forward and blown the whistle on the Bad Man who made them use steer and label it horse? Lucky they discovered it, or it could have hit them really hard if someone who did know was motivated to let it slip.
Hell yeah. Aero haven't had anything to say about this publicly (AFAIK), and can let the trial do the talking on the whole thing. All these AL statements, ebay descriptions, AL defenders on the Lounge, aren't very good at getting their story straight.
