Here's some side shots of my Campdraft. I've read about "pez dispenser" and "stovepipe." I present to you "tug boat smokestack. "

My wife can't seem to warm up to the crease. I've explained the diamond look thing but she's not buying it. She thinks it looks "all wrinkly" .

Like a lot of people she's used to seeing hats steamed over a form that are "perfect." Show her the pictures of Bogie's fedora in the Maltese Falcon over at thegoldenera.net web site and show her how they used to do it.

Ah, its a little bit longer in the front. That front tail is my wind gauge. I can assess wind speeds relative to how furiously the ribbon is tapping against the hat .

Oh, Yah! We're both huge Bogie fans. We actually watched The Maltese Falcon on one of our first dinner dates at my place. That was before I re-awakened my love for hats, though.

That's the hat that got me fired up about the Campdraft in the first place :eusa_clap.!!!

When I was work'in my Squatter that's the first crease I tried. It looked damn fine...damn fine... It looked... well, you know - but I really had a center crease in mind 'cause I've never worn a center crease hat.
