"AeroLover" is a scammer.

This person hacked someone's account, changed they're username, posted a fake buco with inconsistent information, got called out, posted a fake RMC, got caught doing both, and now changed they're username again. They've also privatized they're profile so no one will be able to see they're sketchy post history, and they'll likely try to just rely on they're status as an old member to scam people. Should recieve a lifetime ban.

So you are saying the current @AeroLover account user in NOT the original owner of the account who has been a contributing member, 1800+ posts, for several years?
Or that someone used his account temporally to post the questionable classified ads?

About 5 mins before your post that current member was seen viewing another thread and also edited the questionable classifieds ad several hours before.

Im saying that the person on that account is not the original owner. They hacked it, changed the name to AeroLover, posted multiple scam ads, got caught, and now changed the name again.

The account used to belong to Kblake, an active and reputable member. Whoever hacked the account changed the name to make themselves a little more incognito and then tried to rely on the account history to sell fake jackets, but they were caught. So they changed the name again, privatized the account so others can't see their sketchy post history, and now will likely try to rely on the their status as an old member alone to scam people. It's telling that one of the ad's they were recently viewing was a "WTB".

I think one solution would be to remove the feature allowing user's to change usernames, the name you choose when you create your account is what you're stuck with and to also make all classified posts always public, even when a profile is privatized.

Changing used name is not an easy task. I believe that can only be done by “management” after a request. Changing several times would seem questionable and short lived. Idk

If that is the case then, “SHAME on the MF’r that did, YOUR time is short”and sympathy to the poor member who’s name and contributions have been wasted!
