This has just arrived.

Tobacco Badalassi Sheene. Fresh out of the box so it needs to settle a bit but impressed with it. Not the best photographer so pics are what they are.

2 pocket only and an August collar.

Oh....and I squeak like a new leather sofa :D

Looks sharp there. Like the hat too. I think it will break in nicley for you there.

How is Badalassi out of the box? I have never handeled that leather.

With me being a newbie to leather jackets it's difficult to say. The only samples I have handled are CXLHH, CXLSH and Badalassi and have since realised the similarity between the samples and the actual jackets is poles apart!

If there was a scale of stiffness with 0 being like lambskin and CXLSH being a 10 I'd say the Badalassi would sit at about a 5 or 6. Bear in mind that's only my opinion. I can unzip the chest pockets easily whereas the CXLSH took the best part of 2 days before I could reach them easily :)

The only leather I've had before is a Schott cowhide A2 and, although I thought I was the dogs nuts in it, it will be for sale by tomorrow morning in a mates shop. The leather on it is very soft and, again in my opinion only, it can't hold a candle to the Aero stuff.

that looks fantastic. Badalassi and Sheene go together well. I have one in CXL. Until it finally broke down some, I was never fully convinced. But it's a nice pattern when they nail it and I think the leather type helps with the usual neck crease lines we see on a lot of other examples.

One week in and this leather starts to break in wonderfully.

Regular water spray with warm water and wearing until dry seems to have worked its magic. Also helped the squeaking as has reduced by about 75%.

Lovely fit on this jacket. The Badalassi is quite a complex leather both in feel and color. THe color is probably the most beautiful and complex of all the leathers I own, and the jacket feels "springy" when worn. Seems you got a great, grainy batch as well.

No expert here on leathers but the Badalassi feels unreal, any other way to describe it you've just done..accurately so.

The mongrel MC is coming in black Badalassi and will be enamoured if it's anything like this one.

With Winter round the corner the CXLSH Windward will be getting most use and currently knocking the a** off it to get it into some sort of shape' wearing around the house etc etc. GF thinks I've gone quite nuts.

It's getting there!

It sure looks lovely. There's been way too few pics of the Black Badalassi so that Will be great to see. You should add some pics for posterity in the Badalassi thread

Nice! So, has the squeaking stopped? Mine, badalassi black, will arrive in a few weeks.

I’m awaiting my sheene in black badalassi in a few weeks, my first aero. ordered it in CXLHH but changed my mind after I saw the badalassi. Both looked superb but the Badalassi looks really nice.

Perfection. Often times advice is given to wearing high rise pants with these vintage style jackets but it is rare to see a perfect demonstration of how it'd actually make a difference.
