I caught this on "reruns" the other day. I had no idea that it was 3 years old, but I sure as heck recognized our own dear Lizzie. They could not possibly have picked a better expert.
Yup, it does. Although now it's KQCH, WOW used to be broadcast from the top of the Woodmen of the World tower...
Quoted for truth. :eusa_clap
General rudeness, I find, has somehow become a trait to be admired. The bigger the jerk, the more he seems to be revered. Especially, I think, in the currently pervasive "street culture". Why, for example, is it considered "cool" for a white kid, that's never been...
Shopko and Taget always have the Gillette brand safety razor blades. My local Bag-N-Save grocery also carries Wilkinson Sword.
Oh, and I use a Gillette DE safety razor. ;)
I think that I still have a glass bottle of edge dressing, with applicator under the lid, left over from my days in the military, over 20 years ago. It didn't matter the gloss of the spit shine, if the welts had dust, or the sole edges were scuffed and dull. It's all in the details.
Find a "real" shoe store. Not one of those chains, but a real honest to goodness family run...shoe store. They're still there. We have Haney Shoes. If you don't soon have any luck, or if you just want to throw in the towel, let me know, and I'll call 'em and see if they've either got it, or can...
I used to put bread wrappers on my feet, before going hunting (again...under boots ;) ) When your feet get wet in the field, you're miserable for the rest of the day. And often...there ain't no goin' back for dry socks.
Oh, by all means. Her first album was a little to..."poppy" for my taste. Stripped was...well...yeah.
But Back to Basics lets her showcase her voice, in a genre that I can at least kind of relate to.
We went to see her show when she was in Omaha, on the 23rd. It was a very good...
Whilst I ponder my own list, might I suggest that you see a doctor for that? ;) Though, why you'd want another is beyond me. I mean, if the pastrami was that bad on the first one...
Lizzie...from what I've seen...you are doing just fine. :eusa_clap
While I tend to agree...it is, after all, just conspicuous consumerism...the irony of ironies is that the big RL monogrammed onto the front of the sweater...would BE my real life monogram. lol
Somehow though, I think that the subtlty wold be lost on most. [huh]
I dunno...I've long been of the opinion that they did summit. Albeit unsuccessfully. :(
So, fear not, fans of Sir Edmund, as he will always have the distinction of being the first to "successfully" Summit Everest. Although...Mallory was there first. ;)
When last I fielded (and it's been awhile) I stood shoulder to shoulder with the boys of the 39th Iowa. Prior to that, I mustered in with the 1st Nebraska Co. A.
Au contraire, Amn Hunt.
Officer's, in the USAF, are every bit as much an "Airman" as you.
- Former 8 year Staff Sergeant.
Pleased to make your aquiantance, Airman.
Oh, and just as aside...They didn't make officers like that when I was in. Well...there were quite a few lookers when I was...
That kind of cool is timeless.
In so far as the latest gap ads. I didn't like it at first. I thought that it was a little...I dunno...low end? In any event, after my initial reaction, I thought...why not? maybe it'll help to introduce some kids to a little culture. Of that part, I'm pretty...
