it sure does help. i have a harley fatboy and let me tell you. my highwayman is a trim fit but i still feel like a flying squirrel on the highways. a cafe racer is the perfect jacket for motorcycle riding. especially you dont have 5 lb colalrs slap fighting you in the face. i think they may have...
remember what i said about the sizing. aero bases the initial measurments from the jacket you want yours to be closer to. so if you want a really really trim fit and are a 44, they may use a 44 or 42 but that doesnt mean the measurements will be the same. you got to remember each jacket is...
thats cordovan.
and also about the sizing.
since the jackets are custom made. aero doesn't put the exact size in the jacket. i mean my jacket is a 48 but it says 46 in the jacket. they put what the frame of the jacket is. so if you are a 48 like me. but have a narrow waist and longer torso...
yea i told them i was going to wear t-shirts and at most a sweater. the adjustable straps on the side work wonders. got them pulled tight with a t-shirt and i can loosen them up and a sweater fits perfectly underneath
TRUST!!!!
i don't think you can have much tougher measurments than me.
im 6'7
237 pounds
size 38 waist
gorilla long arms
and a long torso.
i gave amanda my measurments once. she emailed me a few times asking a few questions. but never did i remeasure or add anything. and they nailed it...
very nice aeros guys. but one question. how far do yalls sleeves come down to. mine hit a little above my thumb knuckle if ya know what im talking about haha. where do yalls hit at?
haha i meant thats how the cowboys figured out why they had to tann there leather. not nowadays. i have 6 saddles all martins and bates. my wife has 4 bates. i also bought a saddle untreated to treat it myself. i meant that back in the old days there saddles werent untreated and alot of the...
oil tanned is where the tanner applies a certain type of oil such as neats foot then tans the leather. this creates a soft pliable leather. this is mainly used on steer, goat, and other leathers that the end product needs to be softer and pliable. now don't get mistaken for the aero vintage. oil...
to be honest i dont like oben, ive rode horses all my life and have been around leather for 18 plus years. oben works well with steer and other leathers but from what ive seen pecards and 100% neets foot oil work the best for horse leather. ive noticed when i oiled my saddle with oben, that the...
pretty much any qualified tailor could. it all depends on you. if you want the best of the best. try a company. i know Aero does some fixing up for jackets. even if it isn't aero brand. but youll have to ship to scotland which is the downside. there are plenty of leatherworkers out here in...
just took a stroll with my pup fallon, 22 outside, all i had was my highwayman and a t-shirt. alpaca isnt thick but it does insulate pretty well. like peacoat said i too dont have much natural insulation.
i went with the alpaca. its nice and toasty but if its 30 or below you still need something on under it. it's not like a winter thermal coat. i do like how the alpaca conforms more to your body. but its all personal preference. i hear the cotton lasts longer than alpaca. but from what ive seen...
