    Is there any definitive way to visually identify one versus the other? If OP says it's like new and bought directly from RMC than I would think it's the new cut, since that's been what they've sold since 2021.

    Not a bad idea! May try it if I end up thinking it's worth keeping, thank you. Based on my interaction in the purchase however and some things being lost in translation I'm not super confident they'll be amenable to that, but only one way to find out.

    INte Interesting, thank you! That would certainly explain the cut and age of it. Other than the mold it's quite nice lol the leather is a bit more stiff/maybe a touch less quality than the current offering but I do like the cut quite a bit.

    Indeed a good fit can be rare! Especially with perfectos where you can’t be certain of the cut.
