    If the lice shampoo doesn't work try what they use for dogs. I know it sounds terrible but it was the only thing that worked for my hair when I was a child. And, on the bright side, it prevented me from having to cut it (it was past my butt)!

    On the extra frizzy days you could wear your hair in a snood. That's what I do when it's beyond the point of taming. You could also try using anti-frizz serums, for me it acts as a weak mousse and is pretty helpful. There's also a lot of helpful tips in the Curly Haired Catastrophes forum...

    I had that book when I was younger and hated the images, they used to give me nightmares. Actually just seeing the ones you posted brings back bad memories, hahaha.
