You have to try girdlebound.com I recently purchased some from this sight and love them. They finish off the 40's and 50's look. My dresses look so much more "polished" now. I am sure you will find something even for light "tucking" I don't think you will be sorry.
I just want to thank you ladies for this thread. I ordered some rago girdles and stockings from girddlebound. I LOVE them. They were so nice and helpful there. It was just what I needed to finish my 1940's look. The dresses just didn't look right. But they do now!

Remember when you could go down to the dime store (Harvey's) and getting a bag of candy with 12 cents, (and I'm talking a bag that would last you all day) which included pixie sticks and wax lips. Cracker Jacks were a nickle. And yes I am older than dirt.. ;)

I am a delivery driver and dock worker. We have to wear uniforms at work. Quite a contrast to my vintage dresses and heels. No one ever recognizes me in my "street" clothes.
