Miss T, one can't beat a bit of CC41 at times! Thank you too, fortunately I'm lucky enough to call the setting 'home' most of the time!
B.D, just lovely!
Pip.
Many thanks! It's one I'm rather fond of too, a pair of white leather shoes would finish it off nicely, but they're yet to be found in my size... so brown brogues had to do!
Chrome - Great look, like the jacket!
Pip.
Chasseur: Great as always, particularly fond of that tie!
Edward: That half belt is a beautiful jacket, I keep meaning to get one from Aero but I'm forever buying more Barnstormers... Must try and get round to it though. I'm particularly fond of the Hercules model they do!
F.F.Foey: Thank you...
Crazy Daisy, thank you very much. I'm a big fan of yellow of any kind, but particularly fond of dark(er) and rich shades. Your knit set is rather lovely too, you look fab!
Mai and Chasseur, thank you again. High praise indeed, it was remarked on Sunday as to where I was hiding Aloysius ha...
Bugger! Just as well I don't do bombardier or bomb aimer lol
Cheers for the heads up on the poor thread aim, Andrew.
Would one of the moderators be able to move this thread to the 'Classifieds' section please.
All the best,

Eastman Leather A2 in goatskin, made a few years ago.
Beautiful condition with no marks, tears or rips. Knits have recently been replaced by Aero Leather so are utterly immaculate.
£180 plus postage.
All the best,
Pip
Haha he was originally going to have an enormous handlebar job on it but he preferred to have that one, being a Flt Sjt etc ;)
Looked very good though, would have thought it to be real if I hadn't seen him without one a few minutes before he disappeared into the make up van lol
A friend took a few good group ones on his camera so I'll post them up here if people are interested. Will also keep in touch with the program's stills photographer for any news of developments etc!
Sorry for hijacking the thread somewhat.

Here we go, apologies for the quality of the photographs as I took them on my phone camera. Really ought to lug a proper camera around with me more often, although there's a limit to what you can fit in RAF SD pockets lol
3 of us alongside the owner of the replica Spit...
Quite a fan of Dickie Overy's book, it's a good read and certainly doubles up as something to steady tables and chairs ;)
Dickie is a good friend of one of my lecturers at university so managed to meet him and get it signed, he's a very nice chap really and knows his beans! In addition to...
Slightly off-topic I'm afraid chaps, but have any of you read Geoffery Wellum's autobiography 'First Light'? If so, the BBC are releasing a documentary on it to coincide with the Battle of Britain 70th anniversary in September.
I have spent the last week on the set doing some of the main...
I'd say so, the Aero B10 was of very very good manufacture and the quality was second to none. I loved the jacket :D
Incidentally, just got an A2 from Aero...yum yum ;)
Hi there, sorry for the long delay in replying.
They are indeed the RAF 'mini-wing' as worn by many ex-Eagles, I'm also wearing the RAF 1942 medallion on the right pocket although it can't be seen in the photo (you can probably guess that it was 4th FG which I was portraying this time around...
