Sorry to Necropost but I’m interested in more info on this shirt.
Those who have the Rangoon by ELC, how drastic is the tapper? Also how is the length of the arms? My WWII IMP is a 17/36 and the arms and neck fit very well, under the arms it’s a bit funny though.
The stem looks different than most I’ve seen. I know that with flight wings and related wings there were so many different manufacturers and so many varmints. The same thing goes for other pins too. I don’t see a hallmark in the pic. so you may be out of luck identifying it.
How well does...
I once was a pisscutter man, now I have seen the light. Crusher all the way! I find that the garrison cap falls off too easily, get’s lost even easier. The one thing I like about the garrison is slanting it to the side.
Paisley,
I’m sorry but I didn’t mean to offend you. Pant suits are just not something I find flattering. Pant-blouse combos do however looks good.

I have a question; I’ve looked all over but not really found an answer. I’ve seen in a few photos a white scarf being worn with evening attire. What’s the story on this accessory? When is it to be worn and was it in vogue in the 1930’s?
One final question, perhaps thread worth; where there...
Hummm the new uniform looks like an old one they hade about 3 or 4 years back. However they didn’t have a belt. When those where phased out they adopted a blue blazer coat. No breast pockets, no belt, no shoulder loops either, you looked like a business men with flare on you. Have to say...
Try these photos on for size. The first photo is of 142nd General Hospital in Calcutta (circa 43/44). Col. Howard S. McConkin (right) and Lt. Gen. Raymond A. Wheeler (left) are wearing the coat in question.
Second photo is of Brig. Gen. Lewis Pick awarding Dr. Ravdin the Legion of Merit. This...
