Hey gals! I wanted to let you know that eShakti has offered my readers a coupon for 10% off their custom-made retro clothing. They also have an up to 40% sale going on right now too!
The coupon code is LA24SEN and is valid until July 31.
Edmonton has been experiencing a crazy heat wave here - usually our summers are very dry but due to an extra foot or so of moisture it is very humid! I haven't even bother setting my hair lately, as it all falls out in two seconds. I just toss it up in a clip or victory rolls with either a...
I feel really bad as well! :( Please do not feel bad Lindabelle, it is certainly not your fault! I don't think anyone anticipated shipping to be that high. But I have a solution!
As a compromise, I could re-open the box, make a list of what is in there, send the list & photos to Lindabelle...
OK, here is an update!
I've shopped around and $80 will be the cheapest it can be shipped to Australia. It will be $35 to send to the US.
Please discuss and let me know what YOU think should be done, as this is a GROUP effort.

I would really hate for Lindabelle to miss out on the box, especially since she she was/is so excited to get it.
I don't mind paying the full cost (I just had to wait to get paid) or even splitting the boxes into 2 separate shipments, which would break down the cost to $50, but one box would...

Lovely!
I finished my three-hour sweater, knit with a cotton/beechwood blend. I want to make one in every colour of the rainbow :D More info on the blog!
I got the box today - it actually arrived yesterday according to the tracking info but Canada Post doesn't like to put out a slip until it's been sitting in the post office for a week or so >.< Good thing I checked online!
Here is what I took! Mostly eye shadows and soaps :)
FYI - I didn't...
Thanks for the sweet comments all!
I use large-ish rollers, put in pomade and brush with a paddle brush instead of a bristle brush to get it curly like that. The pomade helps to separate the curls.
And Runa, it's so nice to see another Edmontonian!!!
That is so lovely! What a gorgeous shape. (And I love your shoes!)
I finished the 1930s bed jacket I posted about above. It's cozy and slouchy and has a new home at my office.
I'm looking to solicit some reader feedback on my blog to know what my readers are interested in! If you could pop over to Retro-Reporter and leave me a know, I'd really appreciate it!
