My wife enquired recently via email to ask what wools he has currently available. The response was a lengthy story, here is a summary:
It seems that the knitting machine was damaged in a flood last winter and is too expensive to replace/repair.
His step daughter is now hand knitting the orders...
Is this it?

Hmmnn. Hardly one of the classics...
I'm considering getting something from them as an Xmas present to myself, but I've never bought from them before.
However, the country options when I go to the checkout are:
AustriaBelgium
Denmark
France
Germany
Ireland
Italy
Liechtenstein
Luxembourg
Monaco
Netherlands
Norway
Portugal
Spain...
The 2nd link is much nicer - the clue is in the title for the Dockers shirt "Ugly Christmas Sweater" (I'd agree with that statement)
Do you have TK Maxx in the US? If so, that's where I get that sort of thing. I recently got a Ralph Lauren one for £30 ($48), and other brands are £15-£25.
Well that's good because it was an opinion rather than an actual offer. It was also based on what I can afford rather than what a jumper may be worth.
I'm sure that if I was to pay a decent hourly rate for a complex jumper it would get expensive rapidly.
I recently bought 2 mass produced fair...
I'd ask her how long it takes and agree an hourly rate. I have no idea how to knit, but I'm sure that the dream "Fair Isle" tank top would take much, much longer than something plain.
Also, does you local contact use a knitting machine? Sou West Chunkies charge about £26 including wool and...

I don't own any hat from Bates, but a couple of years ago I went in to try some on whilst wearing my Akubra Stylemaster. Only the really expensive hats were better, most seemed about the same for quality - but that was just my uneducated impression.
I think that there is a shop in Manchester...
I think baking powder has conflour in it as well. If you're drinking the liquid with the dissolved powder in it then you don't want that. If you are using a separate liquid to create the gas and then bubbling it through to clean water then it shouldn't matter. I assume that you're using the...

Nice blog by the way
I'm intrigued - what makes a pen left-handed? As a "lefty" myself, I've always avoided fountain pens as the ones that I tried to use as a child made a right mess of my homework!
