    One of the best things about my Peters Bros. hemp is that, because of the nature of the hemp and the way it's woven, it allows for a bit of air flow (the hemp is very light as well). I'd be interested in seeing if the Balmoral is made the same way.

    The heading for the auction was "1940's Style Vanson Leather Jacket." Absolutely gorgeous jacket. I've been holding off on any further leather purchases (except the one I got from Terry) and trying to concentrate on things I can wear down here, but this jacket was just phenomenal.

    The hemp I got last summer has developed a weird curl in the back of the brim due to the spacers I was using. I tried steaming it a bit but may have been a little over-cautious.
