    Anti Baseball Cap League?

As long as the brim isn't flat and sitting on a guy's head like a saucepan, I'm okay with ballcaps for the ballpark and yardwork. Don't even get me started though on the recent trend of not removing the stickers.....ack!!

Harrison Ford picks the hat. Cowboys and Aliens

Thanks for posting that link, I really enjoyed listening to the interview. From the previews I've watched it looks like a fun movie.

Last Man Standing Double Shoulder Holster 3.0

Bump. Price of $400 with shipping still applies. I'm not desperate, just selling to fund a new project.

    Men's Sandals

If socks and sandals are the fashion choice of hippies that answers the OP.

    Men's Sandals

Sock with sandals is one of the signs of the Apocalypse. *shudder*

Last Man Standing Double Shoulder Holster 3.0

Yes, I always wanted it too. It became quite an obsession tracking down a craftsman with the skill and passion to make it for me. It took roughly sixty hours to make it, not including the hours going over the movie and capturing images frame by frame. A very unique piece!

    Duck Head Khakis

Duckhead went through a 'reorganization' or whatever the PR dept. calls it these days, so while they're hard to find right now they WILL be coming back on-line and through retailers under their own name.

    Looking for good quality neckerchief

I agree, never understood silk wild rags. Cowboys were practical to a fault, everything they wore or used was a multi-tool of some kind, and a wild rag would have been cotton or maybe a fine wool, but not silk.

Last Man Standing Double Shoulder Holster 3.0

Hello All, I have for a sale my double shoulder holster rig, an exact copy of the one worn by Bruce Willis in the movie Last Man Standing. Perfect mint condition. Made to fit two 5" 1911's, this rig was designed by going over the movie frame by frame to get a reproduction as perfect as...

    Water for Elephants (2011)

I'm the same way, suffering animals really upset me in a way that other things in movies don't. Having said that, it IS a movie, and the animals being hurt occurs offscreen in a way that while it made me cringe and look away from the screen, was done in a way that was more implied than...

    You have my vote too!

    Western, anyone?

Use of one or more "X's" is essentially meaningless as there are no industry standards. One makers "50X" is another makers 200XX. I've even seen hats advertised as 1000X.

    Hat care tools??

I use a light colored brush for my lighter hats, and a dark brush for darker hats. I've never had a problem using one sponge for both colors.

    Casino Etiquette

I'm a Blackjack dealer at a major casino on weekends, and I can tell you there is no real "code" as it applies to guests. Wear your fedora and you probably won't be bothered. If the "eye in the sky" has an issue, they'll let you know, but usually we bend over backwards to keep guests happy.

    Western, anyone?

Cowboy hats and whiskey just somehow go together :-)

    Western, anyone?

"but I kept coming back to the John Wayne Cavalry style." I do too. I don't know why but I really prefer the cavalry style to the cattleman or other western styles.

    Getting the Shine Off

I've always been puzzled by these kind of responses. Do people think they're being helpful by stating the obvious, or are they just trying to raise their post count? It just seems to me that your post doesn't further the conversation about different distressing methods. Some people such as...
