    Fool's parade

Can't help but laugh at this, how gullible do they think people are? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/VINTAGE-A2-AVIREX-US-AIRFORCE-LEATHER-JACKET-1943-/180713443723?pt=Men_s_Clothing&hash=item2a135c518b

    Jumpin Jacket

Picked this up for $25 on the bay, a suede Levi 3/4 coat, with genuine kangaroo fur collar, made here in Aus, best guess is 70's, there's no lining, and the sleeve ends are pretty roughly finished which makes me think it's a 2nd, but a fine thing nonetheless, and haven't seen one for about 40...

    Rare one

Long time since I added to the collection, but I couldn't pass this up for $20, it was squashed etc, but some needlework and a gentle wash..voila. A rare pastel colour I haven't seen in a LONG time.

    Opinions gentlemen please

I have doubts about this: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ITALIAN-LEATHER-FLYING-JACKET-UNKNOWN-YEAR-EXC-COND-/250740573467?pt=AU_Militaria&hash=item3a614d851b however Fiocchi is an old Italian ammo firm so maybe....and the seller makes no outrageous claims.

Found this Hardy Amies jacket, bit big for me but the style is unusual, I'm guessing early 60's...any expert opinion out there to verify my conclusions?

Cop this...a pair of custom made RM WILLIAMS, based on the Bushman style but with a high shaft..I've been wearing and selling RM's for nearly 40 years and NEVER saw a pair of these before, and they don't exist in any old or current catalogues, even head Office says they are unique...and they...

    Borsalino Bother

The thread holding the sweatband of my old Borso has started to go, but unlike akubras and others, there seems to be no structural band at the rim to sew to, in fact it seems that the thread goes diagonally THROUGH THE FELT, now I can't picture a needle that is easily available that would be...

    Can't find my way home

I won't show you all, but an 'A2' repro is listed on the bay with "maps on the lining just as the old aviator jackets did".... I've never seen an original flight jacket with anything other than plain lining...did that ever happen or is this just a load of utter bollocks?
