I've had these Codorvan Daltons for about 2 weeks now. They fit and feel like a dream! I have experienced no squeaking in these boots at all. job, I share your frustration! Like winter_joe, I'm a 7 3/4 long oval and with some hats that is too tight. I've quit even looking for the vintage stuff, never have found one. Count me in! I just fired off my e-mail to Ron and Jenny. Heritage Grade felt and sweat band, Silver Belly, same brim dimension, ribbon and brim binding. Size 62. My Tawny Fawn Campdraft is my favorite hat, I wear it more than any other hat I have. Hope this comes to fruition.- Preacher Man

My favorite soft drink is Vernor's Gingerale. It's got to be Vernors. I was in Tennessee in October and bought a 12oz. glass bottle of Coke out of a vending machine, made with sugar instead of HFCS. Very good, reminded me of the good taste of Coke when I was a lad. But all in all, give me Vernors.- Preacher Man
