This very early Irvin model from Aviation Leather Craft is from the beginning of the 70's.
Well worn but still in a nice shape. The only thing worth mentioning is the loose seam at the lower part of the zipper. It can easily be repaired - or just let i be. The zipper works anyway.

Can anybody identify this plane? The picture was taken in Denmark in the mid 30's. I am certain the pilot is danish - but I have no idea of the type of plane.

Just heard the sad news:
"Tich Palliser" - one of The Few from Battle of Britain has just died.
Tich flew with 249 Squadron and lived his last years in Australia.
We will always remember them.
Saw this link on VLJ - finally the Bomber Boys of RAF get their touching and very impressive documentary.
I am definitely going to buy it when it comes out on DVD.

Thank goodness the pilot parachuted out and is OK.
But I fear that sooner or later somebody might try to put an end to air shows. And what a shame!
