Honestly, I never thought that black and brown would go well with each other until I've seen your jacket. The brown mouton collar is exactly what makes your jacket even more special...and also more versatile. It allows you to wear both brown and black shoes/boots with the jacket and apart from...
Hey 1087, I don't know why but I totally missed your new jacket. Man it is beautiful!! I love everything about it: Fit, finish, details, colour and collar. Absolutely adorable!!....And you wear it well!
White spirit/rubbing alcohol (it's called Spiritus in Germany) will do the trick without damaging the leather or its spray finish. Don't use lighter fuel or paint thinner unless you like the white parts of your seat to have an all-natural suedy finish...
Use a clean lint free cotton cloth (old...
Have you considered to go for olive B10 knits? Those look adorable especially when paired with a lighter coloured leather.
Here's a Real McCoy with olive knits. Aero's knit looks identical and they will gladly put it on any A2 model (but you will probably lose the contract label and get a...
If I was in the market for a classic motorcycle jacket I would buy this "hybrid" instantly!! Well done! Much better than the fuller and shorter original ones and the detachable fur collar in mid brown (?) looks adorable.
Is it a "Moira"- or "Janet"-Jacket?
Great watch! I love the splayed lugs and the turning bezel. Also the Czech Airforce is one of the few military wristwatches with a genuine black enamel dial. But I don't like the hollow lugs...
Eddie Platts of timefactors.com will be making a faithful hommage with sub seconds vintage hw...
Go for the 1938 contract on Aero's site. It's the most trim fitting of all A2s and it does have very small but oh so beautiful pockets. It also features a collar stand and a riveted zipper.
Apart from that I would say that A2 pockets never look huge. G1 pockets are much bigger! In terms of...
Great looking jacket. The hide looks beautiful and the fit is very good! I had a sample of their jerky HH and I was really surpised by the fact that it's actually not much lighter or thinner than FQHH. What colour did you specify for the top stitching? It looks like caramel or very light brown...
Mmh, Lower Saxony? A genuine peacoat, made from that thick and soft Kersey wool is probably exactly what you want! (Still cold, isn't it? "Bangig kalt", so to say...)
Anyway, considering your measurements you can easily get away with a size 38!!
Here are a couple of pics of me wearing my minty...
Hello and welcome to the forum!! You've selected a great looking and extremely well made jacket. The overall fit is just as it should be but to be honest (and because you asked) the sleeves are too short for my taste. I also prefer it if the front panels of the jacket cover the buckle/belt (but...
Check out the Nigel Cabourn version of the Harrington:
But at almost 350 EUR list price not really cheap! ...But oh so nice!!
Here's mine (Ben Sherman Harrington, olive)
The Aero CR is a tad longer because many people love the old J100 which was even longer than Aero's amalgamation. I'd say leave it as it is and wear for a good while. The leather needs more breaking-in.
(Sigh!!)If you then still think it's too wide take a gentle and short shower in it. No soap...
Yes! After resewing the button you should be able to feel the knot when you reach into your pockets.
When you look inside your handwarmer pocket it should look like this (yes, the thread is olive).
What's not to like about your AERO? It's slim fitting, it has the smaller (and neater) biker's bi-swing back and the sleeve and body length is exactly as it should be. Honestly, I can't follow.
The fit of the Schott is uhm not so good... ;-)
BTW: What happened to your face?
Well, there's the 50s, 30s and the Long HB. The LHB ist based on the slightly roomier 50s cut. If you want a Long 30sHB you will have to specify that. But there's still plenty of time to change your order.
For comparison a 30s HB (mine) with even front and back, size 40, 1.5 inches added to...
50s pattern: Roomy and boxy with American style cuffs
30s pattern: Slim fitting and narrow with button cuffs. A standard 30s HB features a longer front and has a slightly shorter back.
Check Marc's picture trail for details:

Is your jacket going to be based on the 1950s HB or are you going for a Long Slim Fit HB (Like Gancho's/Olli's)? What are your measurements?
Corduroy is good for all pocket bags that are used as handwarmer pockets. For all other pockets I would stick with hard wearing cotton drill or brown...
Eastman leather is the official EU distributor for everything BR related. The B2 is on their site:
http://www.buzzricksons.com/product_info.php?products_id=31
It seems to be in stock and I am pretty sure that they will ship to the US. The Buzz B2 is without doubt the most beautiful B2 that's...
