In the upper body, yes. But most 42s are too long for me since I'm not that tall, which is why I prefer to go custom and spec the length a bit shorter.
I don't think the matte Badalassi is available any more, at least it wasn't as of March this year when my jacket was produced. Had to go with the shiny and squeaky (Nappa Lux?) leather instead.
Up for sale is a Thedi MTC-1279406, also known as the "Niko" in the weathered light brown buffalo. Purchased new directly from Theodoros. This was my first Thedi but ended up being just a little long due to the 2" front drop so it didn't get a lot of wear. I ordered another one a bit shorter...

+1 on all the JL comments. Great guys to work with and all the patterns I've tried are very comfortable to wear (for me).
That is my actual chest measurement also, actually about 42.5". I normally wear a 42 suit jacket.
It's definitely wearable for me and I would keep it but just have too many other similar jackets right now.
