Guerra is a well made modern hat. IMHO they are better than Borsalino and half the cost.
I only wore this one once if that :) so it is in new condition. This is a good alternative for Akubra Fed IV lovers.

Goes against the generally opinion of this board. Velours were in fact the most time consuming and labor intense finish. By the way this article is from the Norwalk Hour and a USA view point.

Late 50s early 60s Mayser size 56cm (size 7). Older Mayser Fedoras are hard to come by and this one is in very good condition. The brim is just over two inches with very nice felt. During this time period Mayser also made Stetson hats for the German market. $20.00 plus shipping.

I have noticed that vintage black felts tend not (in my case none) to have moth issues. The lighter colors (grey, white) are most problematic. In my case it isn't the black or darker colors hiding the problem. Any opinions?
