I've met several film and TV stars and even more music stars.
One in partcular I've even tattooed . . .
The Enigma - the blue jigsaw puzzle covered actor, musician, professional side-show entertainer (guest starred on the X-files, Pen & Teller, Ripley's Beleive it or Not) and tattoo icon...
I collect a lot of things. Musical Instruments are one of my passions. Upwards of 30 at last count.
Also collect books, magazines, music, movies (film noir in particular), vintage clothing. I have a couple of vintage automobiles and boats.
Associated with my occupation, I collect vintage...
With all this talk of shaving, this may be a good place to ask the following question . . .
Anyone know of any good UNSCENTED aftershave products?
Maybe I'm weird, but I normally don't use any aftershave lotion at all because I don't enjoy wearing cologne or the cologne-type smell...
I love being pampered and am not ashamed to admit it.
Both my wife and I treat ourselves to relaxation massages once a week, and occasionally even facials. And I've already told in another thread of how much I enjoy a good barbershop haircut and straight razor shave.
Today we went a step...
Yes, she also happened to be Austrailian if I remember correctly.
I notice that's where you list yourself as hailing from, Goldwyn Girl. Maybe you can shed some light on whatever happened to her?

An unfortunate, but I'm sure extremely rare occurrence. Too bad you now let it deny you one of the most pleasurable parts of a barbershop haircut.
A simple bath in barbacide between clients should be enough to kill just about anything communicable left on the straight razor.
Interestingly...
Anyone remember this one? . . .
Fade To Black (1980)
Starring Dennis Christopher as a psychotic young man obsessed with golden era films, who begins to kill his perceived oppressors while while dressed as his favorite movie characters.
Also features Linda Kerridge as a very convincing...
I am lucky (or unlucky, depending on how you view it) enough to live in one of the last remaining states, last remaining counties even, that does not regulate barbering at all. In my city/county and a few others around Alabama, there is no licensing requirement for barbers beyond a regular...
Anyone know of a comprehensive list of noir films that have fallen into public domain?
Also, can anyone shed some light on why some films fall into PD after 50 years, but others even much older do not?
Just wondering, as I am working up an idea for a film project that would use snippets...
Actually, I've seen a couple of shows recently (I think is was one of the CSI shows, but there are so many on nowadays I get them confused) that did just that: the suicide/suspected murder turned out to be a suicide after all.

I've had the pleasure of a barber shop shave a time or two just for the pure experience. To me it's one of those things every man needs to experience at least once.
Sadly, it's getting harder and harder to find a good old fashioned barber, let alone one who still offers strait razor shaves...
I always thought Adrian Paul from the Highlander TV series would have made an excellent bond, and possibly the best successor to Connery's Bond persona, as there is a slight resemblance there, not only in physical appearance, but also in presence and style.
I wonder if the role was ever...
Speaking of flying, here's my crack at aviation art from a few years ago. I decided to combine my love of flying and my love of art and see what happened. Both paintings are acrylic on canvas. -MC
Those are unbelievable first and second attempts. Your color and depth are extraordinary for a beginning painter.
If I may lend one bit of constructive criticism, about the only thing I would suggest is that you work on tightening up your line work a bit. I realize you are going for a very...
