Ya got me. Typo, of course. I meant Dobbs.
Bringing back doobs goes against my moral and ethical nature. It would also seriously render my clearance null and void.
Q: I am heading to Costa Rica for a week of photo-taking and exploration. I am taking only one hat. I'm thinking of my Stetson Reward Shantung. Would anyone suggest something else (Akubra Campdraft, Doobs Rosebud, other)?
Those who have seen my recent acquisitions and read my posts know that I've taken to wearing paracord hatbands. They are interchangeable, and can be made in any color combination. Here's my first professional (I'm learning to make my own. My first attempt had me miss a weave or two ).
I just lost an auction on eBay for this rather nice Stetson. I might have been able to win it if I'd been willing to go higher than my max bid, but someone wanted it more. Was it anyone here?
My perfect size: 7 1/4 Long Oval.
I never thought I'd be happy the forecast was predicting record high temperatures today (~92°F), but that's the perfect reason to debut my Stetson Reward Shantung!

In sub-freezing...
As a student? Or as a GI? Or a civvy?
There are student records, and reunions that occur from time to time. I haven't been to any, but I get notices about them. I also bought a Munich Campus t-shirt recently!

The rest of the story: I got into some hot water for the painting I did on the other window (my room was the upper corner). Popular at the time was the "Work for Peace" button that many of my age -- stateside -- were wearing. I painted a likeness, thinking it was a kind, gentle...
