Has anyone scans of old catalogues? That would be very helpful and an amazing resource. I must try Google!

    New L.L. Bean "Signature" Line

So I won a $50 gift card to the signature line on Facebook. It came in the mail today. I think I'll get some more casual Friday clothes from them. I am impressed with the items I have purchased from them. I love the tattersall shirt. It's nice and tailored.

    Burgandy Brogues

Those are very nice Tomasso. Some of my favorite shoes. Smithy, that sounds nice as well. I was interested in why you all think that they are relatively difficult to find over black and brown.

Ronald Reagan and James Dean Video

The fellow at the bottom looks a bit like Hugh Laurie as well.

    Burgandy Brogues

Thank you, Puzzicato for looking out for them for me. Yes, they just seem to be getting rarer. Ten years ago, they were ubiquitous, but alas, times change. Edward, indeed, forget about blue and gray; and what do they look like when you do find them; usually some designer reinterpretation.

Gentlemen please, we should be able to discuss golden era actors that transitioned into politics without constantly referencing their politics. More importantly, we should be able to disagree with each other without being disagreeable. Try a little humor and patience.

    Burgandy Brogues

French, it's odd; brown and black are ubiquitous, but cordovan, oxblood, and burgandy are very tough to find in a wing-tip or brogue. I just wonder why that is, why it's such an unpopular color.

    Burgandy Brogues

Call me weird, but I like to pair my shoes with my socks. For instance, I think that a nice warm orange sock looks great with a cognac color shoe or a red or scarlet sock looks great with a burgandy or oxblood shoe. Currently, I don't have a pair of cordovan, burgandy, or oxblood wingtips and...

    Cell phone dilemna

I'm sorry, but this is not really vintage-related or Lounge-related in any way. I am sure there is plenty of information on the net to help you with this decision and I will keep this up for a while in case anyone wants to PM you ther opinion. Thanks.

Careful gentlemen, you are skipping like flat stones skimmed across a pool of politics.

    Best Fitted Off-the-Shelf Dress Shirt?

J Crew, and even their outlet brand, very tailored and nice with vintage accents here and there.

Forbidden Images: Movie Montage Of Censored Images From 1920s And 30s

I agree. It's very racy. I believe it was shown in the UK version. It's almost as risqué as "Metropolis."

"Doctor Who," He's Back and it's About Time!

Once again, I am enjoying this season very much. I like the new doctor and his edgy, over-the-top, passionate-professor persona. Say that several times fast. Anyway, I am noticing an odd trend of adversaries that aren't really that scary. Even the daleks seemed rather tame. Still, it's all in...

It's kind of fun, isn't it!

"Doctor Who," He's Back and it's About Time!

So, you all know that I went into this season very skeptical. I was ready to bow out of the show all together. I must say that the energy, edginess, and intensity of Matt Smith's performance is very appealing. I was pleasantly surprised by the first episode although it seemed a bit recycled; a...

    Oldest person you ever knew?

I knew a woman in Maine who was 99. I once told her that I saw the grave of Buffalo Bill when I was in CO. She said, "Oh yeah, well I saw Buffalo Bill!" There's some perspective.
