    The Other Open Roads.....

Nice looking OR clone Jack. I listened to a podcast recently about Richard Haynes, definitely an interesting guy with some very interesting defense strategies... It's wild that in Texas the 'he needed killin' defense is still viable to this day.

What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

Thanks Tim, It's the one I reach for most often at the moment. As my hat wearing and collecting evolves I'm finding old westerns are my favourite and anything under a 3" brim now feels kind of small for me!

Nice derby Randy, you are a full convert! Now why didn't they just stamp that date on all of em! But then I guess we wouldn't have nearly as much fun doing our research and banter about hat minutiae.

    Full Hat Collection Photographs Thread

For example if you have any 7 1/2's that you haven't gotten around to sizing up I'm...

OTHER THAN eBAY Hats: Victories, Defeats, Gripes & Items of Interest

+1 for me I mentioned something similar a few months back when seeing these steampunk numbers. It also might help serve to document some Fouqet’s here on the lounge! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ask a question, get an answer

The endless variations of the Indiana Jones hat is an extreme example.

    Stetson No. 1 Quality

Nicely done Terry. I recently recieved a straight sided dome from hat shapers, some vintage grosgrain and my wife bought me a Jiffy Steamer for Christmas. Starting to get the items together for some more serious conversions. I'm sure all your posts will be a great wealth of information!
