wondering if anyone knows, aside from using dye, what type of conditioner or leather cream can safely darken medium brown jacket leather as shown in the pic below into almost an A-2 or G-1 degree of dark brown? i know many creams or conditioners will normally darken leather...wanted or...- johnnyjohnny

vote for selling it must say that from the numerous pix i've seen of actual ww2 luftwaffe pilots, the fit of your jacket is how they actually wore them but in the same breath i must add that it looked bad on them...not sooo bad on you, but still not the right fit for modern times but even...- johnnyjohnny

WW2 pattern SPIEWAK A-2 (1987 MILSPEC ISSUE) Large
aNSWERS... thanks james, sorry it's a size or two too small... BUT RIKBB...this may fit you...i just sold a schott actual milspec A-2 from the 80s and it was only 24.25" in the back whereas the SPIEWAK is another 3/4" in the back, the standard size for most older A-2s...so that helps there...- johnnyjohnny

Has Anyone Seen a Schott 135?
yes...yES...YESSS!!! i have the precursor to the 135 listed in the classified section...it was a 681 schott and was discontinued in 1995...the only difference between it and the 135 is the back, which is the less expensive to construct 3-piece back on the current 135 versus the 681's famed...- johnnyjohnny

22222222222222222222 cents another 2 cents...as said, gibson and barnes are down there, and are top of the line jackets, and only about 10 percent higher in price...and g and b backs up their quality...i'd head straight to their showroom if you order over the phone, you'd need to give them...- johnnyjohnny

MiNT 1995 SCHOTT #681 1-Piece BACK SZ48 Highwayman Luftwaffe style
here we go again...another SCHOTT Highwayman/Luftwaffe style jackets, size 48, new old stock worn several times only, 1-piece back. it's a #681, not made any more, replaced by the #135 that is the same EXCEPT the 135 has a 3-piece back...so this is rare, and MiNT...on 'the bay'...- johnnyjohnny
