    Soaking in water can change color of felt. I'd most definitely go with heavy spritz / steam first. While I absolutely agree for that kinda' dough hat should meet your expectations .. you and hat look great together. Good luck.

    There are two of them stacked .. 52' Danelectro Maestro's. 2x6L6s, all octal preamp tubes, 1x12" They're really fine sounding amps. Fingers crossed they'll be getting more use in the near future.
