The Premier is a Royal Deluxe quality hat. The Stetson Excellent quality are now their 100% beaver hats. There is nothing in the catalog about an Excellent Stratoliner these days.- Monavillecowboy

The Stratoliner Appreciation Club {MODERN}
The Strato is much softer and more pliable than the OR. Sizing is a bit more complicated. A size is a 3/8" range and any hat within that range is that size. A 7 3/8 e.g. is anywhere from about 23" to 23 3/8". You can go to any store and grab 3 identical hats of the same size and chances are that...- Monavillecowboy

It's a bit stiff but it can be snapped down if that is what you really want to do. A little steam would soften it up and make it easier. It will probably be another few weeks before my natural colored hats show up.- Monavillecowboy

The 10X will have a much better weave than the current 6X. I'll know soon what they look like. I ordered a few of each yesterday and they had some of the darker ones in stock. The natural will have to be made and will probably take a couple months.- Monavillecowboy
