I love the honest patina and frankly also the relative light weight of the leather compared to all the heavyweight stuff. Sorry about the double post, still figuring it out!
Technically not my first vintage jacket as I have a few that I've either had for a really long time or that were given to me. However, this is the first vintage one I have bought since I got into this jacket thing. Straight out of the Lounge classifieds, Technovox was a pleasure to deal with...
Ton, that Iron Heart 526PJ looks really great. I might finally be getting this denim thing....
The only denim jacket I have right now is one of those 80's baggy oversized Levi's with handwarmer pockets. I've had it since new and still wear it. Maybe I'll step up to the "real" thing.
Your dog...
I hear ‘ya. I seem to be getting more interested in vintage jackets now, after having gone after all the cool new ones. Fits my personal pattern with motorcycles and guitars...
I need professional help!
This is a dangerous place! I managed to stay away from acquiring jackets for a year, then......
I started clicking around on the Lounge again....
I'll get some pics and details up soon.
Fit looks good.
I have a few LW jackets, one is a Downtown car coat and it is cut larger than the other jackets. I also use it as a winter coat. As with you, it’s kind of loose with just a T. I think that’s the way it is supposed to fit.
I resisted buying a brand new midnight blue teamster for all of last year.
One of these days, maybe.
The truth is I have 7 great leather jackets right now and I actually do use all of them....some more than others. No doubt I could make do with less than that. Having said that, I keep...
Sure, understood all. I don’t take any of this the wrong way btw. It was just a fun exercise, considering that I like to travel light and will only take one jacket.
I think I’ve settled on my sateen cotton Lost Worlds Raider and my LL Bean replica navy commando sweater. That should take care...
Thanks all. Yes, stops everywhere with different climes. I’ll be in Northern Europe in October, then mostly in the south during November. I’m sure it can rain anywhere at any time.
Hi all,
My wife and I are going to Europe for 6 weeks from mid October to the end of November. We are traveling light with a lot of carry on flights. So I will be taking only one jacket. We will be in and at points-between Bucharest, Romania and Malaga, Spain from beginning to end.

Love the Bootlegger, although I don’t grab it as much as I thought I would almost a year later. I’ll bet I will when fall sets in though.
No doubt it is “cut” at the waist, not as roomy as some of my other jackets. The sleeves are sleek as well. No layering with that one, wouldn’t be right!
