The BORSALINO BROTHERHOOD
The second Mirtillo I find this summer in my market. Luckily that one is in my size. Personally I prefer a rolled upbrim (like this has) over a snap brim fedora but that's just me. The style is misleading but from the label I am thinking 60s(late)?- PanosChris

Steve thank you! They probably belonged to the same person, since they came together and sized similarly. And thanks to your site I knew what HBB meant :) I am yet to see a wool felt in velour finish in person though, the closest I have is the French one I posted recently.- PanosChris

Not sure if this one belongs here. It could be English made originally. Unfortunately no labels. The finish is quite coarse and the content feels mostly wool. The bow and wind cord made me pull the trigger on this one- PanosChris

It's been a while. Quite some great finds gents. Two oldies from me. Heinrich Balke, Bremen Some damage on the sweatband but the felt is in great condition. Also, this is a wool hat, and in a special finish. Not something we see that often, I think.- PanosChris
