What coffee or tea did you drink today?
I am a Lady Gray daily drinker (insulated cup at work, carried with me from classroom to classroom), and my 'fancy' tea is Harney & Sons Tower of London blend. Hubby bought me a tin of it for Christmas.- Babydoll

Thanks. This is my first immediate family loss. We knew it was coming for years, but did not expect it. He was a diabetic that didn't take good care of himself. I don't think he even knew how sick he was.- Babydoll

We lost Hubby's momma in early December (Influenza B turned to pneumonia- waited too long to get medical help), but we were able to get him on a same-day flight to Texas so he could be there to hold her hand at the end. Last week I lost my big brother, Bubba. He was a diabetic (type 1), got Covid, was intubated and in a DKA coma for 17 days, which led to him contracting MRSA pneumonia while intubated. We get Lily to tolerate going hiking with us (our longest yet was a bit over 6 miles, and 800 feet elevation gain) by having her listen to Korean pop music (one earbud only, other ear open to hear her surroundings). Our family has taken up the hobby of hiking this year. It has helped with our physical, mental, and emotional health. (Lily hates it, though. Long time no post! Merry Christmas, friends!! Lily is almost 12, and about an inch shorter than me. Crazy! She started middle school in the fall, and loves it - especially the social aspects.
