Vanson Model B - the search for my perfect cafe racer is over

This post makes me want to whip out my Vanson Model B (with stripes ) again.. although mine was artificially distressed by me back in the days (which ppl here hate ) . This is actually quite a popular model, especially at filmjackets forum. Congrats on your breaking in process OP. hope you...

Anyone familiar with Japanese leather brand Orgeuil? Very nice...

Some great insights there handymike. One thing i forgot to mention which you touch on abit are the front pockets. For more traditional Cossacks with these type of pockets usually the pocket will “bulge” out abit but for this style, I think their intention is for the front panel to “flow” better...

Anyone familiar with Japanese leather brand Orgeuil? Very nice...

Thank you handymike! Posting more pictures to show the details of the jacket: I personally especially like the buttons on the jacket... these little details really make a jacket distinguish from one another.. it's just buttons i know lol. Notice there are already some scratches on the...

To double revive this thread :p, I have just purchased the orgueil cossack (camel leather) jacket in Hong Kong.... I got this on sale ... which still costs 980 USD... crazy I know, I never paid that much for a leather jacket ..usually at most at the 700 USD range. However, I am asian and the...

FS: Belstaff War of the Worlds "Hero", Belstaff Dark Night, Vanson early "House" Model B

Thanks for the kind comments! Yes I did post in filmjackets too, but activity was quite quiet there recently... Lol there can never be too many jackets. Yes the thinner stripes are on the earliest version of the jackets, where logans closet made them. They change it quite shortly after...

FS: Belstaff War of the Worlds "Hero", Belstaff Dark Night, Vanson early "House" Model B

Dear All, First time sale here. I have acquired the captioned jackets a few years ago. They have served me well and worn by me lovingly, but it is time to let them go so to fund for my other purchases, given expenses for a new baby is killing me as well :( For reference, I am 178 cm tall...

Hi 1087, of course poser can have a few interpretations, but it's most commonly associated negatively in the modern world rather than not. However, in any case, I just wanted to explain more why I did it, a little explaining won't hurt, whatever your intentions are, don't you think? Of course...

Project Navin Aero Jacket #2 now underway...

hey Navin!! I always wanted an Aero in that style, without the pockets, which Aero does have for their Ace Cafe Racer jackets... sorry didn't read through the whole thread... so have you ordered it yet ? And what colour are you choosing? I wish I will have one as well... but no money for that at...

No offense at all TheSnark! It's great to hear different opinions, even if you don't agree with me as long as you have great reasoning, which you have! Yes don't worry I already have many jackets that I won't do ANYTHING to them and let them age slowly, somehow my hands just got itchy and...

    Inception Jackets

Agree with Navin that these forums made us pay much more attention to the wardrobe, great leather jackets on tv + movies.... there's definitely more than meets the eye... for me it's the filmjackets forum of the house jacket that attracted me first.. from then on it's neverending. For...

That's a great reason for you to wear your Aero NYPD jacket ... and it certainly looks badass! But what the heck, why do we have to explain our "reasons" to wear leathers to begin with? Can't we just say that leather jackets look cool, and as well being functional at the same time? For me, even...

Cheers HD !! I just like more vintage/worn looking leathers in general :) That is why I did what I did ....and more likely than not is because I don't have much patience hahha so I just distress myself first.. you have an enfield! Cool! In what colour ?
