thanks for asking...the white tag on the inside says 2003 11, so guessing that's nov 2003...the black washing instruction tag is down on the inside of the jacket, unlike where it hangs below the harley main tag at the neck on more recent jackets, and it does NOT have a country of manufacture...
here we go again, selling great jackets that i don't seem to wear because i'm too busy buying other ones. you don't have that problem i'm sure.
this is a distressed classic Harely Davidson leather jacket, 26" armpit to armpit, rare with vintage patches, classic vintage style...has no...
Das Jacke
thanks for remembering moi edward...
interesting thing is that the look we all attribute to those fascists with a sense of style and no sense of morality actually took the 'luftwaffe' jacket (as we all know) from the french bicyclists...so maybe we should praise the french for the...
Das Eastman ist gut!
just saw this Xeno and wanted to thank you...i've gone through some changes in my tastes for the military leather, and have left all behind but my interest in the fur-lined G-2 jacket, my interest going to motorcycle jackets.
but my initial love of the luftwaffe jacket, to...
well here we go again...letting go some beautiful leather motorcycle jackets that are just a bit off my personal size...so if you've wanted a very cool medium/light weight leather authentic Harley with classic logo on it, it's a size XL (26" armpit to armpit) and it's got one day left on 'the'...
here in lalaland i have personal experience with the best, and if you view their yelp you will see i'm not alone with a huge number of those who have had major repairs done on leather jackets or other stuff for what turns out to be a fair price, tho you'll agree price is not the real issue with...
what jackets do you buy vs what you end up wearing???
i ask because i'm selling my gawjus vanson sportrider mark2 properf...a beautiful jacket i raved about here when i bought it, have not worn it, and have kept my addiction up to motojax, so it must go for the ones i do wear...love to start...
ok, those of you who know me, am clearing out those exquisite jackets i simply have not worn!
best of these is one i raved about when i bought it, the VANSON thick leather large-hole fully perforated (with an actual die, as in die-cut) summer riding jacket...i have worn it twice indoors and...
finally selling some collectible leather like this very rare schott A-2 that is not a motorcycle jacket or civi leather jacket, but one of their rare contract made A-2s, apparently '96 or later as it has the relaxed military spec allowed side handwarmer pockets in back of the full patch pockets...
in the hole
was always concerned that duplicate holes would be made. if they match the holes the mentioned $110 or so is a good deal. thanks for the info.
i love this jacket, just got it on ebay but turns out it's one size too big for me...so sad. will fit someone who needs a 27.75" armpit to armpit...all stats on the ebay ad including the great condition it's in. very low price for a jacket that retails well over $400 ($125 buy it now). very sad...
great compilation for those of us who like the design, if not the cause they served.
with the so-called 'eastman' jacket (for their superb recreation) being my favorite icon of leather jacket-dom, a second favorite would need to be that white shearling. good stuff and accompanying history.
mr. montana, nick nolte on a good day, or whoever you might be...i not only can take a jab, i love it so much i'm almost into s&m.
not really info for this forum, but i guess my humour is a bit too dry for butte, so you didn't realize i wasn't upset at your endearing remarks.
clue, when nixon...
sorry , nothing more i can add included the inferred subject of outer shell composition. sorry to disappoint you. i'm still here.
and for all the other fun pokers, unlike nixon, you will have me to kick around.
tah, for now. but not for long
i never used -30- even in journalism. got on my first paper in '79, everything on computers.
-30- was saying the particular discussion of what nylon fabric is used in these jackets is finished. the photos, quotes from industry people, testimony from people who had the jackets, show there was...
hi, this is virtually the alpha B-15 jacket, but without the removable fur collar. there's a lonGGG review about alpha, and the b-15 and n-2b on this forum at http://www.thefedoralounge.com/showthread.php?62608-i-love-wearing-nylons-so-i-bought-a-pair-REViEW-of-the-Alpha-B-15-amp-N-2B

nylon...for legs and jackets
i gave up caps when i gave up editing for a living my fren. i do appreciate your chiming in with some info.
the entire point of the military going to nylon was to streamline costs from leather, and what they love to do most, standardize materials to streamline...
don't confuse numbers with specs aerojoe
throw in cpu's and ma's aero...they not only SEEM to be reproduced all with the same nylon twill flight satin, but when made under contract to the U.S. military, they WERE also made with the same heavy twill nylon known as flight satin for their outer...
