Pocket flaps... I like them on a suit, but they do tend to add a bit of a bulk to a look. But if I tuck the flaps in, the open maw of the pocket tends to get caught on chairs too easily. And no I will not sew them shut... I like that prince Charles, hands in pockets with thumbs out look now and...
Yup Hap, the entire movie is full of superb tailoring. It's a big showcase for peak lapel three buttons in particular.
I think of the suits as very close to the look of the ones that were worn in the movie Brazil.
I'm not doing suits anymore now that my attention is heavily elsewhere, but I do still have them made. I'm an off shape... hard to find off the rack, you know!

It's hard to understand the logic of the look other than fashion demanded big blousy chests. The armholes of the era just kept getting bigger and bigger and bigger.
