Dangit jonesy, stop being helpful. lol
As the seller of the brown jacket, I obviously have a conflict of interest, but this seems like a really good deal if you want one of these in black. Did Vanson offer these in brown leather in the past? Brown Vansons seem uncommon on ebay, so I assumed to...
I've ordered this one and returned it. It sort of fit me, but the snap collar was way too small to close - think leather on this one might have shrunk.
I have actually liked how Urad changes the appearance of worn leather in pictures people have posted, but I think it's helpful to understand what many of these leather products actually do. Maybe Urad is good for sealing leather with compromised finishes? IDK exactly. I personally like to use...
From this SDS document, it looks to be some sort of rosin mixture suspended in turpentine and other solvents. Kind of like varnish. Not a lot of stuff in here that would help the leather if it's dried out and needs more fat liquoring IMO. If I were to use URAD for its appearance, but wanted to...
At this size, I don't know how much interest this will generate, but it's worth a try. ;)

Yeah, sort of looks like someone spent several hours artfully removing finish with sandpaper. All the wear is pretty even in appearance - no signs of deeper scratches and damage - and it's a little too clean looking. I think it still looks pretty good and 99% of people would look at that and...
Probably a legit East West, or possibly a convincing reproduction? I found the same design with the East West label on Buyee.

Carlos840's thread inspired me to look at Vanson jackets on Buyee, so I've got this Cheyenne Maverick on the way now.

There is a black one in my size as well, but I liked the two-tone look of this one, and I...
That's a good insight, I was wondering why width measurements for leather jackets on Buyee always seemed to be unusually low. My wishy-washy method for estimating pit-pit is to assume the true pit-pit should be about 2 inches larger than the shoulder measurement. Doesn't work 100% of the time...
^Marc nearly had it I think. He caught on to the clues I didn't, but by process of elimination it must be this:

Eastman! Maybe the Type A-1? Guessing you don't want the shearling models.
