Liner removed in anger
Possibly. Depends on how sensitive you are to heat. But removing a liner can add a few degrees of comfort. The biggest difference will be if the liner has a plastic cap. I take my liiners out carefully so that I can tuck them back in with ease for winter use.- Not-Bogart13

Big men & double breasted suits

I would not recommend leather for any season. It's too hot in summer and too cold in winter. And just plain heavy all the time. :( For summer, look for linen or cotton caps, or straw fedoras. Avoid anything with a leather sweatband if you plan to leave it in the hot car during...- Not-Bogart13

Cleaning advice for a Crusher Cap?
I wasn't sure if I should put this into the big Crusher thread, given that it's a different and very specific sub-topic. Plus, it might get buried. I think the color transfer is the main issue, as RBH says. Also, if bristled fall off on a similar colored hat, they will be less noticeable.
