    I like this old thread and am pleased to see it revived....I love seeing what others do with their hats. That said I mostly keep mine boxed up or on shelves in a closet, BUT do also have them all over the house as my wife likes to point out. Generally those are ones I am currently wearing...

    I cannot hear the audio very well at all. It looks like he is hooking both ends...or has double stick tape or something. Especially noticeable when he takes it off, the under part sticks to the hat. In any event if it does have hooks he did not catch himself like I ALWAYS seem to on one end...

    Yep, Card Fiends were card collectors. They would collect and often paste in albums. Goes back a ways with these advertising illustration cards and even back to collecting CDV photos and CDV illustration cards and even collecting signatures/photo's of famous people back in the 1860's. EDIT...

    These blue cards tend to be very early (1860's or even earlier). This one has a damaged back from being pasted into a Victorian album.
