Hey Red! No way I can top the suit. I went with a guayabera I picked up in Ecuador in the last year or two and some brown dress slacks.
But I do love this hat, and what a day! The sun's out and temps are up a bit... a really beautiful day in the NW, and a great reason to beat the spring...
Things changed up for us today. I wore other clothes and MrsFed agrees, the Everyman in granite just plain goes better with all the competing colors. Here we are hamming it up before our table was ready at the Cheesecake Factory restaurant.

That was me at dinner last night. I'm such a klutz! They were hoping for 150 at the fundraiser last night and they got 200 so it was a success in many ways.
No purple that I've noticed, unless it's from the gun metal grey ribbon and brim binding. It needs a good cleaning, but it's otherwise a real nice hat. I think it looks a bit like a Whippet, but IIRC, was only about $57 or so off ebay.
