Very nice Whippet, CC. I will defer to those far more experienced loungers with regard to liner stain removal suggestions, but personally I think it best to leave it as is. From your photos it does not appear that the stains are all that extensive.
Thank you, Wiser Hatter, I appreciate...
Wow, M.V., you really are on a roll! Love the color and it looks splendid on your noggin. Hard to accurately date Borsalinos, but it certainly appears to be a beautiful example.
Thanks, I appreciate the kind words, Chinaski! I agree the sage green Whippet is visually interesting, and of a color less often encountered.
Thanks, Alex! Will keep an eye out for you, in 7-3/8LO;)
Thanks, M.V., will let you know if I decide to part with the 7. Your recently adopted grey...

Pair Of Green Whippets
Finally getting around to posting pictures of the pair of Whippets, of which I am current caretaker.
Color: Bluegrass?

Ribbon: 1-5/8".
Brim: 2-5/8", with 3/8" edge binding.
Sweatband: 2".

What a superb pair of Optimo Milans, Lefty! I can't comment on the 7XCB but I absolutely agree with your assessment of the Optimo Milan hat. Will have to take mine out tonight when I get home just to savor its visual and tactile beauty. I think they deserve their own thread...
Knox Forty
Another example of the Knox Forty, in a different style from the beautiful one posted above by Mulceber.

Ribbon: 13/16", with wind-trolley/matching button.
Brim: 2-3/4", with 3/16" edge binding.
Sweatband: 1-3/4".
The only marking on...
Another extraordinary weekend of hats, gentlemen!
Knocked about St. Paul today with my family, wearing my knock-about hat: VS satin finish, in Granite, and my favorite Merino wool coat.
Beautiful, clear morning, in front of The Germanic-American Institute.
Large, glittering flakes...
